About The Opportunity:
- We are currently looking for a highly analytical, creative and forward-thinking Senior Finance Controller.
- The Senior Finance Controller will be the finance business partner for our GMs, Operations Leadership, Marketing, Sales, Accounting, and Manifesto Tech Team to develop and implement best in class cost control processes and systems that will support Manifesto's future growth.
- He or she will serve as the controller of markets and HQ costs, responsible for ensuring strict financial controls are in place. The role is broad in scope and will require an individual who is motivated to make an impact. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; will be a creative and analytical problem solver.
- The successful candidate will be able to apply accounting and technical experience combined with core project management (PM) skills to translate complex data concepts for leverage by control and process owners across the organization. This role will require a deep understanding and experience with all aspects of internal controls including financial information technology systems for a complex, high-growth stage, multi-disciplinary organization. Requirements for this position also include demonstrated ability to design and monitor an effective implementation of an ERP program.
How we see the role & what you will do:
- Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Regular budget controlling.
- Cash flow reporting and support of CFO.
- Improving efficiencies and optimization of costs across the business.
- Developing financial performance reviews and working on data analysis.
- Coordinating and preparation of budget and financial report with variances.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain documentation for investment due diligence.
- Understands and analyzes the monthly processes leading to financial close. Uses financial systems and advanced MS Excel functions to work with large data sets.
- Ensure that financial controls and processes are in place and respected through continuous audit, reporting, and systems implementation.
- Works with a variety of data sources. Identifies incomplete or inaccurate data, identifies root causes of data issues, escalates discrepancies, fixes data where possible or partners to deliver a solution.
- Establish and maintain operating and business metrics, develop the next generation of metrics and dashboards, and improve accuracy and pace of the decision based on metrics.
- Influence senior leadership to implement strategic and programmatic controls
- Develop SOPs for finance governance including controls and testing mechanisms considering risk mitigation and guidelines.
- Coordinate the implementation of a procurement ERP system.
- Provide ongoing support to process owners/control owners and cross-functional teams to ensure controls over key reports are designed and implemented effectively.
- Assist in the evaluation of identified control deficiencies and monitoring of remediation efforts.

This could be your job if you:
- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller.
- Advanced degree in Accounting.
- CPA or CFA.
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or other fields with analytical focus.
- CFA or other relevant finance qualifications (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
- Prior experience in Audit, Controlling or Accounting functions in startup organizations.
- Advanced computer literacy and analytical skills (advanced excel, GoodData, Tableau, Power B, among othersI)
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and ambiguous business environment.
- Superior attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication.
- A demonstrated history of solving multiple and complex challenges.
- Aptitude for influencing and galvanizing others to follow you toward a solution.
- Fluent in English (German or Czech languages are nice to have).
