R2P Specialist Team Lead
Location: Prague
Contract: full time, permanent
The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
- Assisting R2P Operational Compliance & Reporting Manager to set team targets
- Ensuring team high standards in performance, delivery, attitude towards given tasks as well as motivation & development of individual team members
- Determining and organizing R2P Specialist´s team activities and oversee they are delivered in accurate and timely manner
- Acting as the main escalation point of contact for other R2P teams & business stakeholders and supporting them in resolving their issues
- Working with GS Compliance and designated local teams to set up best practices in SOX payment cycle controls and other designated areas
- Driving continuous improvements and standardization in SOX controls area
- Overseeing maintenance of SOX controls documentation given by Payment cycle DCM to ensure it’s available, accurate and up-to-date
- Ensuring completion of incoming audit requests - cooperate with external & internal auditors and accomplish all assigned tasks as per their requirements, aligning and cooperating with authorized JnJ colleagues
- Supervising manual bank payment approval process in coordination with other R2P Team Leads, set-up best practices and most effective way of working
- Collaborating with R2P EMEA Transition Project Lead on MBP’s roll-outs, especially on organizing the bank access permissions
- Ensuring procedures are performed on timely matter adhering to all compliance requirementsand that R2P team members are sufficiently trained at all times in both process and technology requirements
- Driving improvement initiatives and its implementation within the team
Qualifications
We would love to hear from YOU, if you have:
- Understanding the AP process and PO life cycle in a corporate environment
- At least 2 years experience in an R2P Specialist role and 2-3 years in a similar job in finance/accounting
- Ability to solve difficult situations using own judgment and sense of initiative
- Big picture orientation
- Strong people-management skills
- Willing to support less experienced colleagues
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficient in English (written and oral)
