We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Expert with combination of:
- Subject Metter Expert and Service Architect roles
- Real technical experience (responsible for technical decisions),
- Delivery Management / Transition Management skills,
- Project Management skills
We make real what matters. This is your role.
- Analyze business requirements and processes to support the design and development of infrastructure services
- Prepare and contribute to architectural quality reviews as well as to definition of service strategy and architecture.
- Identify and track already identified issues in cooperation with other work streams
- Together with team, implement and optimize our Data Center services and needed ITIL processes globally
- Ensure data and information security in the Data Center services
- Support Service Owner and other stakeholder in projects
- Manage excellent relationship with clients, third parties/vendors, and external providers
- Work with virtual team spread worldwide (very limited need to travel) and share best practices and approaches across teams.
What you need to make real what matters.
- Bachelor or Master degree in computer science/computer engineering or similar
- Many years of hands-on experience in the IT sector, with focus on IT infrastructure.
- Ability to translate business demand and requirements into technical solutions as well as conduct dialogues (communicate) with customer in a both technical- and non-technical manner.
- Understanding of the relevant technical aspects of platform services:
- Administration of MS SQL Server and/or Oracle Database
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, SSRS, SSIS
- DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Cloud understanding is a must, Cloud experience is preferred:
- Amazon RDS, Aurora, ElastiCache, DynamoDB
- Azure SQL Database, Database for PostgreSQL/MySQL, Cosmos DB
- Oracle on Azure, Etc.
- Proficiency in English, knowledge of German will be a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer management skills with advanced problem-solving skills.
