FINANCE ANALYST
Location: Prague
Contract: Full-time, permanent
We are looking for a Finance Analyst. YOU will be working and collaborating closely with all financial departments. In this role, a successful candidate needs to have an understanding of accounting as you will be analyzing and interpreting financial and market data.
The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
- Understand the holistic process of financial closing including all dependencies.
- Collaboration and coordinating with all financial departments
- Financial closing process coordination between RGS, LGS and CFMs
- Blackline system – supporting whole EMEA MRCs in scope with the technical part of BSAR process, journal entry module and task management tool
- Ownership of team related SOX and Other controls related to sector in scope
- Balance sheet flux analysis preparation and coordination
- Calculation and analysis of yearly Journal entry threshold analysis and BSAR Criticality Assessment.
- Responsible to define, execute and monitor key activities of accounting process
- Track progress of closing activities during closing week (approval of JEs, BSAR execution, etc)
- Identify potential deviations and initiate preventive and corrective actions.
- Act as Blackline coordinator for EMEA taking all necessary actions to ensure that the setup is in place, accounts are assigned, and reconciliations are completed in a compliant manner. Foster quality execution of the BSAR process including early completion, supporting document guidelines, mismatch tracking and appropriate criticality assessment.
- Participate in the projects, proposing process enhancements and actively supporting automation and standardization initiatives
- Contribute to enhance data integrity and process execution by defining scripts and coordinating central checks and reports (preventive or detective) that help to have flawless execution of accounting activities, including automations.
- Ensure input data for GS dashboard is provided accurately and on time and contribute to define and measure A2R KPIs that are appropriate and reflective of process requirements and deliveries.
- Ensure regional month end close calendar is appropriately maintained. Contribute to adequate closing planning and execution promoting continuous improvement, standardization initiatives and adequate monitoring of performance.
- Participate in the governance of A2R process definition via participation in project tracking meetings with other finance streams as well as technical and process related forums.
Qualifications

- Background in finance and/or accounting
- Open-mindeded/out-of-box thinking
- Excellent communication skills are preferred
- Fluent in English
